Trading.png Trading is a game mechanic available only after the arrival of Zelk.png Zelk and his family on the 2nd of Summer Summer.png, Year 1.

Talking to Zelk will prompt the Trading (Idea).png Trading (Idea). Completing the idea will unlock Trading. Each of the 3 Clans has one Trader who will offer different items, based on random chance. (If you'd like to re-roll your options for trade you can exit to the main menu and restart the day, the Trading options will refresh).

Unlike Exchange.png Exchange that only uses Contribution Points, The Trading interaction requires The Player to match the value of the items you want from the trader against the items you have in your inventory. A sliding bar on the screen shows how close the Player's item offering is to matching the value of what is being asked for in Trade.

There are up to 6 slots to make an offering within range of the value of what you're asking for. If you need more slots to get all you want in trade, you can remove some of the items you want and complete the trade for just a few items, then open a trade with the trader again and trade for the remaining items you want. The items available for trade stay the same throughout the day.

In the charts below, are all of the Traders, what their available stock of items could be depending on the random chance that they are offering the item, and also the value that item has per each 1 of the item.

Items Value

For every trade, the Player must offer an equal or greater value of items from their inventory. Below is a list of ALL possible items that can be offered for trade, and the amount of value per each 1 of the item that is offered.
